A young woman from Papua New Guinea was burned at the stake, accused of witchcraft. Woman in shed for 20 years, was naked, tortured with a hot iron, sprayed with gasoline and burned alive in front of a crowd in the town of Mount Hagen in Papua New Guinea.
She was accused of killing a boy of six years by witchcraft. Police and firefighters were prevented by angry mob led by the boy’s relatives to reach the woman.
The child died in hospital six years after accused stomach and chest. Police say that more people will be charged with murder in the case.
