North Korean leader Kim Jong-un recently chaired a meeting devoted to training military a “major event” for the defense of the country, official media reported Sunday, a probable reference to the imminence of a new nuclear test, AFP informs.
Kim Jong-un delivered a “historical” in the main military courts in the country, said the official press agency KCNA.
The meeting was dedicated to “the arrival of a major event in enhancing military capabilities” of North Korea, KCNA said, without disclosing the date on which the meeting took place.
According to experts and sources within foreign intelligence services, North Korea is ready to conduct third nuclear test as a measure of retaliation for an extension of sanctions adopted by the UN Security Council following a shooting rocket with long-range in December.
This truck is considered by Washington and its allies a new ballistic missile test that violates international sanctions.
New North Korean nuclear test will be the third, after those of 2006 and 2009, in charge, at the time, adopted by the UN sanctions following the shootings long-range missiles.
South Korean experts believe that the test will take place before the Chinese New Year, which falls on February 10.
