This is just the beginning of my story, and I bet that you’re already wondering why the hell I’m writing about an Australian education commercial. I know you’re confused, and probably apprehensive about potentially wasting 2 minutes of your life on this, but I promise you… you’re going to love this video.
Filmed for the Central Institute of Technology in Australia, this commercial shows us just how easy it is to get an education. In fact, as we’re told over and over again, it’s a snap! The problem is that Aaron – the person telling us about the school – has a certain, shall we say… gift. He’s able to transport himself almost anywhere, and as you’re about to see, that makes for some good old fashioned shenanigans.
Why the hell don’t we get commercials like this here in North America? I really don’t understand that… would anyone actually find this insulting? I thought it was absolutely fantastic, from the insta-vomit right through the grim, bloody end. Yes, it actually reminded me of Klaus’ First Day at Work which is incredible in its own right. If you haven’t heard of it, and have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about… all the better. Just be aware that it’s just as bloody as the video you just watched, if not more so.
Have you guys seen any amazing educational commercials, or just commercials in general? When I say “amazing”, what I actually mean is terrible… so terrible that the commercial is funny, and then becomes unfunny… and comes right back to being funny again.
