A postcard has 50 years to be sent from Marseilles to the sub-prefecture of Lorient, where it finally arrived last October, it was learned Thursday from the prefecture of Morbihan.

The postcard was mailed March 13, 1963. It represents “an overview of the Vieux-Port” of Marseille and was addressed, probably by friends, a former sub-prefect of Lorient, Marcel Jaquet, who died in 1984, according to the same source.

The prefecture of Morbihan is currently seeking descendants of the sub-prefect to their return the postcard, she also said.
